Not easy to find a good middle eastern actress willing to do nudity. It'd be a social suicide.

You can simply look at her at it's obvious she is Hindi:-( it Arabi.

Also, there are numerous women with backgrounds being from the MENA Region. It never ceases to amaze me how Americans are so ready to speak of international aspects when 98% cannot even name the Heads of State for their two nearest neighbors without needing to look it up first.

It would be as much as a career ender for a male as a woman. After all, men have strict dress codes as well as women. Americans are unaware because (a) being that only 3% of the populace has ever been to another country (except via militarism or possessing foreign ties), Americans are the least traveled and globally cultured nation among the Industrialized World, (b) India's social restrictions towards sex and nudity are just as strict and conservative as the Gulf, (c) like most ignorant Americans, you speak as though the MENA is monolithic and homogenous. When, if fact, the region and people vary as much as the Arabic language, and (d) don't speak about a culture, ethnicity, religion, country, or region unless you've conducted objective and empirical research, or have spent considerable time there.

Having spent a great deal of time in the Middle East and being a Political Scientist of the region; men and women would avoid being nude due to a sense of self-respect and dignity.

Although the internet provides enormous anonymity, media research has found that 99% of internet nude videos portraying nude Arab females and makes are actually people non-Middle East (with most being Western female imitators).

Serious question: who said she had to be Arab? It's not like there are no non-Arabs in KSA...she could be a non-traditional Muslim from Pakistan, no?

reply

You're a political scientist and don't realize Indians live and work in Saudi Arabia. I am skeptical.

reply

She was an Indian Actress playing an Indian doctor in a country that doesn't allow women to drive. Get it? There are LARGE Numbers of Indians and other expats working in the Arab states. Get a damn education already. Your ignorance is embarrassing.

reply

I thought she was playing a Saudi woman ... hence her Saudi husband. I don't think any Indian woman would marry a Saudi man unless they were totally desperate, and as a doctor she was not.

reply

I don't think any Saudi women would be up for the part, and to get their heads cut off.
