Zach Gilligan coming back? He's still acting and so at least a cameo would be nice.

The movie isn't a reboot and so we could have some of the original cast back to give the movie the authenticity that other reboots don't always have.

Nothing wrong with focusing on new characters and stories, just let the story slide from one generation to another (Or two).

Maybe one day we could even get a Mr Wing story of how he came to know Gizmo.

Just don't make it vanilla and pay homage to the overall story.
