find a confused George Lucas in 1960 and force him to sign a document not to make any movies after 1983

Seriously though why was the place destroyed? I presume because of 'Wallace' but what did JFK surviving do to cause this, or was this town just some random *beep*

Well Wallace couldn't get the race riots under control and bombed inner cities. Terrorism got worse until they got their hands on some nukes and earthquakes caused by the disruption of time caused chaos.
