like how actors eventually become caricatures of themselves. I was worried that Rick and morty were just try and ham it up and play up the "rick and mortyness" but dial it up to an 11. the thing is everything about this show from season 1 has been dialled up to an 11.

I started watching episode 1 concerned they had replaced actual clever ideas and jokes for doing that. but then the whole dog man thing and his future generations happens and I started laughing my ass off and was no longer worried

I'm three episodes into season 5, and so far I think it's as good as anything in the series so far. The fourth season seemed lacking, but they have more than made up for it so far.
