I just finished watching this movie and I did not know what it had in stor for me. It's a deeply saddening movie that will not let you off the hook until the end. I can not say that I liked or enjoyed it, which doesn't mean that it's a bad movie. But it's a very depressing outlook on a depressing and cold world.
shareWhy is it depressing? It had a happy end: Tore got the martyrdom he coveted (he kept returning to Benno, as if he was asking for more abuse), a guaranteed entrance to the Paradise.

martyrdom for what? for a false belief. he's not like jesus who "died for all our sins" etc.. he's just one of millions of abuse victims who suffer and die for nothing and will be forgotton after their death.
