I loved this one :). See this is what filmmakers need to do, remake films that were bad or mediocre.

Different strokes. I love the acting a mudic etc of the original. It was Disney's second Mary PPoppins. The one I could not get into the acting or story. Them there's the music. That God awful country garbage that made my ears bleed.

Don't be silly. It was a sweet film with great acting and story. I can see how it might not be some people's cup of tea but the WORST?
You need to get out more...

It's interesting that what you would rush to dub a bad or mediocre film . . . left enough of an impact on audiences to serve as a foundation for a film 39 years later.

Let's see if they're still talking as much about this modern remake in the year 2055! I don't think they will be. Although it was a very nice entertainment product by modern standards . . . that's all it was: and it will be lost amidst a sea of similar products in 39 years. Walt's original sought to be far much more than just puerile entertainment.

sarthasam i was a kid when the original film came out and i never ever liked it either. i didn't hate it but i think i have only watched it the one time way back in the 70's and never had a desire to watch it again. this new film i very much liked. i can see me re-watching this again several times.

I didn't absolutely hate the original but had a lot of issues with it. Found this much better.
