Well said.
I've seen Pete's Dragon twice now. First with my daughter then we went this weekend with my wife to share it. I love how the viewer is given such a warm and hopeful story. The music and acting excellent and the story is dramatic and precious.
Although, real movies like this suffer from today's fast action hectic strobe light plots of so many other family movies I feel.

Well said. It's the perfect antidote for all the grittiness, grimness and grubbiness that we are all expected to wallow in from a lot of the other releases.

I wonder about some people on here.
