Just about no one wants to see a black dude in a wheel chair as the main character of a show. (No racial connotation implied)
Excuse me, but you DID imply a racial connotation by making that stupid statement. Hell, you didn't merely imply it, you flat-out SAID it. Maybe YOU didn't want to watch it, but I sure as hell did. I was starting to like the show, and it was refreshing to see a cop show that didn't have some 20-something white dude as the lead for a change. I swear, NBC kicks new shows to the curb faster than any other network, and yet they're still probably wondering why can't keep a steady lineup going like the others. I remember way back in the day NBC would nurture new shows until they got off the ground ratings-wise, but nowadays, they don't even have the patience to do that due to all the competition from cable, the Internet, and social media. What a shame-----plus it was fun seeing Blair Underwood hold down a series as the main lead, and play a tough bastard for once.
