I really liked what Rock tried to do here. Performances were all good. I wasnt fond of the movie at first but when you get through it I think overall it was a good movie. Funny at times and mostly he wanted to make it real derived from his life experiences.

I think it deserves a grade over 6.5. I gave it a 7

I agree -- at first I really thought I was going to ditch this one early. I'm trying to clear out my DVR and if something doesn't interest me in the first 30 minutes, I'm being brutal and deleting.

But this film gets better, and turns out to be quite likeable in the later little arcs the characters go on. Loved the comedy club scene.
