I know cuckered harry potter fans think this ugly hypocritical bitch who looks like a guy is "cute", but it's hypocritical in every way that they chose her. First, in real life she only dates super hot guys so why is she in this movie that makes a completely different statement, and second - she's ugly. Unless she's playing the beast, this won't work.
Honestly, does that message even matter at this point? Belle already looked plain in the original film anyways (and I think her actress is now a showgirl at Las Vegas). And besides, after those girls in France fell in love with Sartre despite his definitively objectively confirmed ugly mug and he in return proceeded to do a significant amount of harm to them and casually dumped them (and what's worse is that the godmother of feminism, Simone de Beauvoir, pretty much encouraged said behavior like Hillary Clinton did with Bill Clinton's escapades and even got into the despicable actions herself), no offense, but I'm very cynical about that moral.
Read this, and you'll definitely see where I'm coming from regarding not judging books by covers, the moral of that tale:
And calling Sartre a serial seducer is putting it lightly. One woman's statement in the latter article implied that he may have even committed borderline rape. It speaks volumes that Gaston, GASTON, comes across as a decent man compared to him once you've read that.
The TC was saying they shouldn’t have hired Emma Watson to play Belle due to her being ugly in appearance and her going for super hot guys. I was simply stating it probably doesn’t even matter. So far as I could tell, that WAS on topic.
Anyway, my issue with Emma Watson playing Belle is not that she's not pretty enough; based on the images ONLY, she seems too young (juvinile...?) to play what's supposed to be a character wise beyond her years.
I've never seen any recent work of hers, so maybe on screen she does come across as mature? Final judgment is being held until I see the movie, but I have my reservations sadly enough.

Emma isn't ugly (far from it), but she's not this VERY pretty woman/girl that Belle is supposed to be. She does have an immature look to her like she hasn't finished growing yet. And the guy playing the Beast look too old compared to Emma...
Not happy with her either, but I don't think I will hate movie because she is not pretty enough. She is ok looking but a good actress. At least she is not beautiful and talentless like K Stewart.... We all know she got this role because almost everyone knows who she is and who she played.
Agreed, she looks plain, then again I don't care for any of the chosen cast outside of Josh Gad. Disney should have looked for more appropriate unknowns over A list celebs
