Susan Boyle is a horrible actress!

I like Susan Boyle. She is an amazing singer, but a horrible actress. Her presence in this movie almost ruined it. She is so stiff and when she utters her lines you almost can't comprehend what she is saying. Thank God her character is not in many scenes. On a positive note, her singing of the main theme was awesome!

I disagree. She was funny in the changing scene. I think she did fine for her first.

I actually think she did a good job, considering she's not a trained, professional actress. I "bought" her character as the woman she was given to play. There wasn't a lot to the role, but the person she was playing fit the way she played it, and I bought her portrayal of grief and betrayal in her face after the church fire. I think she did remarkably well.
