Wow I am so bummed.

Is this confirmed? Usually when a show is done IMDB puts on their main page like 2011-2014... this just says 2014-
Implying that the series is still going on.

Eh anyway.
I am on episode 10 of this season on Netflix right now. Just last night I was raving to my husband on how awesome this show is. It is a detective/lawyer show but it actually has a storyline too. Not just a bunch of people with no personalities that never show any growth on the show the whole time they are on it.

Almost every single person on this show feels like a real person to me and I am attached to their story. And everything is grey... there is no black and white. I hated Terry and then I started to feel for him... its awesome how they did that.

I'd take this show over Law and Order any day... where the characters (think Olivia Benson) are the *exact* same person they were on the pilot 15 years ago. I get tired of seeing the same damn thing every episode. I'd like to see more of a storyline outside just their random case of the week.

It's really a shame that no one has any patience anymore to let something grow. If there isn't instant gratification it gets the boot. So many shows I like that get cancelled... apparently I am outside the norm.

I'm with everyone else it's a crazy story line but it has potential also.... very upset I never heard about this until it hit netflix I believe if they done another season it will probably get more viewers as I've seen most people watch things on netflix now because it's more convenient to our busy schedules but I hope someone reads the reviews if it ment that it went on I believe I would watch it week to week as it came on tv just to add the one more viewer as I'm sure the rest of you guys would I'm sad to hear it cancelled kind of upsetting actually

I am not surprised that this series was cancelled. The last few episodes, particularly the last two ("Civil Wars, parts 1 & 2") were so poorly written... it appeared rushed and lacking continuity all over the place... the plots were unravelling and had become do implausible that even the characters were all becoming unbelievable. I had felt cheated that the first few episodes held promise for a good season of drama, however that trend reversed and became a morass of excrement. The worst character was the judge who appeared to have been appointed in cuckoo land rather than rising through the ranks of the leval system... this snow was too awful to describe any further... just another wasted opportunity for a decent tv drama and importantly, time invested by viewers who held out that it may improve as the series developed, only to be disappointed in the long run (imho). This time round the low ratings appeared to be correct and I can see the justification for canning the series.

Disappointed. It was a good show.

You can always tell when a show is failing, when they start cutting the plot and filling the spaces with sex scenes. Ripper Street has the same problem as did the second series of Penny Dreadful. Seeing two people writhing about entwined in each others bodies adds absolutely nothing to the storyline and is just padding out a weak script. This show didn't seem to know what it was all about, and tried to compensate for silly plotlines by just throwing in twists and turns every few minutes.
