I would rather shove my head into a moving fan than to watch this again.

"Jersey Shore Massacre" is one of the few films made where you are hoping that each character in the movie gets killed. Each person is dislikable. Never have watched the TV show "Jersey Shore" I have no idea if these are the same people. I am guessing it is because you just won't see this many out of shape women in bikini's. B-movie all the way, but not interesting in the least. The opening scene isn't too bad, but when the women come around you know it just isn't going to get any better. The chicks spend a weekend out in the country. And, yes, they are killed off one by one. Will any survive? Will you honestly care? Horrible movie. * out of 4 stars.

Let me know how the Fan works for ya...

had me laughing at the fan idea, should make a better spectacle than this attempt on a movie :)

I love the topic. I may steal it if I ever see another movie this bad.

Too bad cuz it's probably better than the original series hahaha

so that makes it different than every other slasher made in the last 15 years how exactly? as much as I LOVE the genre.. there have been few and far between films where you actually like the characters anymore. I mean the Friday the 13th reboot? Chainsaw Masscare? Nightmare on Elm St. Hell I really was hard pressed to really care who lived in Scream 4 (and I had always pulled for those characters in previous films). It's just gotten to the point that we care less and less about any of the characters. Which to me shows just a complete lack of work on the films themselves.

The only, off hand, character I can think of that I was pulling for was in the parody "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil". But I never had any real thought they wouldn't make it, but I at least would have been upset had one of them not.

Agreed. There is no character development anymore so you don't really care what happens to them. All they do is grab a few characters, place them in the woods or some abandoned structure etc. and then throw in a killer and watch them die in gory ways. Most the time the writing is so bad you want them to die.

Movie makers today have forgotten one key element to a good horror (or slasher) flick. *Suspense*. The original Psycho, IMO, is far superior to the crap that's made today. I was a kid when that came out and I can still remember my mom and my neighbor's wife talking about the movie after they saw it. For a couple of days afterwards they were both hesitant to get in the shower. Now that is the mark of a good movie when you're still scared days after seeing it.

Audience taste, attention span, education and maturity have all taken a nosedive since Psycho was released. You’re blaming the filmmakers, but should probably be blaming the target audience.

Not for nothing, I liked this a lot. It has a wry sense of humor and is in afraid to mock itself. I’ll eventually watch it again.
