Not a fan!
Adding pop-infused music to an historical drama detracts from the stories.
Why not keep it historical or at least classical?
I agree. And most of it is pretty bad music, too. We have a really good surround sound system, and for some reason, the music on this show seems to only come out of two of the speakers, while the rest of the sounds...speech, horses, swordplay, etc., comes out of the others. Like they're on separate "tracks." Very strange.
Oh yes, I was so annoyed by this. It feels like a typical teenage love story, very much due to the music.
So weird. I love the music on the show, yes it isn't in anyway accurate but I do like the folky/pop/alternative music they use. Found some great songs thanks to the show.

shareMy wife and I noticed the same thing. I can't get by it...but, she likes the show, so we continue to watch.
Glad it wasn't just us who noticed.
