Good movie (spoilers)

The Carpenter’s Miracle is a good movie. It has a solid script, the direction is strong, and the actors are well cast. It hits all the right notes, and even creates an air of (minor) mystery. Is he a healer? Does he have some sort of supernatural power? To the movie’s credit it never really answers that question, although the final scene allows us to believe he does. I think the movie is better for not answering all the questions.

Movies like this are only as good as the chemistry between the leads, and The Carpenter’s Miracle has that in spades. I found myself rooting for them and their budding relationship.
