The show has a chance of getting renewed

I know that the ratings are not good but there's still a chance.
The creator of the show posted this on his twitter. https://twitter.com/michaelseitzman

Show has a lotta value. VOD, downloads, streaming, DVR, international. Bubble, yes. Dead, no way.

We won't know until early May, but it's all been very positive.

Has definitely NOT been cancelled.

Eh...it's a passable show, but frankly, Josh Holloway deserves better.

He is doing a lot with what he is being given, but there really isn't much there.

Actually, I think that he deserves to star in more movies and not in a tv show.

I don't disagree, but I like him on TV...but that is becasue I am more of a TV fan than a movie fan.

If this show were to end, he could move on to better things and Meghan Ory could go back to Once Upon A Time where she was playing a far more interesting character.

I agree. I have never watched Once Upon A Time but I really like Meghan and I'll probably start watching the show just for her if Intelligence gets cancelled.

Her character on Once was starting to be really cool, then other major plotlines took over and she fell to the background and then got Intelligence so she went ever FURTHER into the background...

And if you haven't watched Once Upon A Time, let me prepare you...the first season is really good. The second is decent. The first half of the current season was kind of terrible, but the second half seems like it is picking back up.

I really hope that it's renewed. I found the first few episodes a little lackluster, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it since.

Wonder is the seed of knowledge.

I agree - it's getting better. I really liked this episode and look forward to the continuation. I like that they keep some focus on the technology rather than letting it sink into soap opera land. Fingers crossed it continues in this vein and will be renewed.

I think this was one of the best episodes of the show and interesting where the new direction goes.

I hope this show does get renewed. I love John Holloway, and Marg Helgenberger. I think they need to replace the other "heads of agencies" as I can't stand their characters. Mei Chen, I'm on the fence about her usefulness. I love the chemistry between Gabriel & Riley. The guys who play the father and son could use some acting lessons though.

I really hate to say this because I'm a big fan of the show, I think it's one of the best news series of the season by far but just based on the numbers it has no chance of getting renewed. Which is sad because of the quality of the series.

The show looks expensive and I bet the salaries for these big tv actors isn't too cheap either. From a numbers point of view, this is a no brainer cancellation. The only reason it would get renewed is a good faith gamble for the future. Or to keep one or more of the actors and or writers "in house".

If they want to keep an actor or writer, they will just move them to another show. This just happened to someone I know and it was really for the best since the show this person was on was dreadful and obviously heading to cancellation. But this person is really great to work with so it was no surprise that the TPTB made an effort keep this person on the payroll.

I hope Intelligence is renewed.

Every creator, producer, and actor ever associated with a bubble show has always said the same things.

It's all but dead, it's just not official yet. But I think the fact that CBS isn't airing repeats of Intelligence in its Monday 10PM time slot as a way to perhaps reach new viewers and is instead airing Person of Interest repeats speaks volumes -- CBS is essentially done with Intelligence and wants to forget about it entirely.

I've never seen the show. When I read that Intelligence was canceled because it was too complicated, I couldn't help but chuckle.

The show was NOT complicated...it was great. The show that was complicated was Almost Human...I liked it but understand why it was cancelled. I don't understand why Intelligence was cancelled..it was different & something new.

I suspect that the reference was simply to the turn of phrase:

"intelligence has been cancelled because it was too complicated."

Shame that this show was cancelled, would be good if it gets renewed out of a miracle. Doubtful but I was glad to watch the whole show.
