While the pace of Miss Julie was slowed down a great deal, Chastain's performance is utterly remarkable.

She was remarkable, but Farrell was brilliant.

It was awful. Colin Ferrel was brilliant as usual but it was like acting with a wooden log.

Yes truly a great trio of actors. We can not stop those who watch Captain America to stop trolling on period pieces they know little about . Chastain is a brilliant actress who can make viewers feel without the need of a script

I keep hearing people say Chastain's performance was either "remarkable," or it was "awful," with no in-between. So which is it? Both sides can't be right!

I thought Chastain was remarkable and remarkably intense. Farrell was excellently bitter, exploitative and obnoxious. But the bravest performance was Morton's who reduced herself to an empty shell of a person. So yeah, I liked the film.
