Does anybody know if the girl who plays the love interest is half black or if she just has a bad tan. She doesn't look to be anything but white, but you never know.

Edit: She is half black and I'm glad. Tanning is not healthy in children or adults.

shareWow, calm down. I think you are overreacting. Why is commenting on someone's tone of skin racist? Racism is when you hold a prejudice against people from other races, and this is clearly not the case.
We are just trying to determine her ethnicity out of curiosity. She has a very unique look that has gotten some people's attention. Really, I see no difference between discussing this and discussing her hair colour.
Different hair colours exist, different eye colours exist, and different skin colours exist. So yes, there is such thing as 'races.' Why is racist to admit so? Is it insulting or inappropriate to say 'my colour are blue' or 'my hair is red'?
Seriously, it's not that big of a deal to wonder where someone's roots stem from because of their features. If someone asks you what ethnicity or race you are, do you reply "I'm human"? If that's the case... good for you, you sound real interesting. Actually, you sound ashamed, and that's just sad.
