Did anyone hear about what happened with Charice?

Her father was murdered in her home country after someone saw his daughter on the TV show ''glee'' and assumed he must have money because his daughter was on a tv show. It was a robbery gone wrong and he was stabbed to death multiple times. I believe Charice never came back on the show again after this overcome with grief. She then changed her gender a few years later and now goes by ''Jake''.

To me this is an under reported tragedy of the glee curse. She had the best voice on the show.
