Julianne Moore is exceptional BUT.........

The film wasnt strong enough... the first half of the season was repetitive.. The 180 turn of George happened too fast. The ending was too quick and unsatisfying, and seemed rushed. All of that, all the strife, all the planning,,, just to end the way it did. Fell flat.
On another note, the staging and costumes were stunning. The 1600s was a strange time, with its practices, and it wouldve been great if they had more focus on its lore.
