Girl Meets World was a pretty good show. The young stars did a fine job and the show was enjoyable for kids and adults.

Failure or underappreciated gem?

It's a little bit of both. I thought the first season was decent. It was a promising start, but went downhill pretty quickly. The cameos were fun and all that, but later on the storylines with "life lessons" just weren't working.
