Season 4 would've killed off a major character

That's what Michael Jacobs has strongly implied. And ya wanna know who I'm guessing that character would've been?....
Fee-nay! Fee-hee-hee-heenay!
And if that was his plan for Season 4, maybe it's for the best it won't be one because there is no way in Hell that would've sat well with fans. Especially not me. It's gut-wrenching just thinking about how the revelation scene could've went. Cory gets a call from his parents, he's thinking - oh it's just mom and dad saying Hi, no big deal - his face changes from a smile to one of horror/confusion. He yells "WHAT?!"...That catches Topanga, Shawn, and the kids' attention. Voice breaking he says "Are you sure?....Okay...Thanks for calling, Dad. Love you too." Hangs up. Topanga says "What happened Cory?". Cory's silent. Shawn grows worried "Cor? You're scaring us, what happened?" Cory swallows, looks at Topanga and Shawn with glossy eyes...."Mr. Feeny Died..." Studio audience reacts in shock. Topanga and Shawn are horrified. Topanga cries. Shawn hangs his head. Cory walks off to the back."

I agree that this was a possibility and i wouldn't really have seen the point either. Especially since the show is about the new kids and so it would have just been another weird disconnected episode with too much focus on the Boy Meets World characters. Also, they already did a death episode with the death of the coffee shop owner.

In a lot of ways while i would like for there to be more episodes, but the show was good and the characters were at least in a good place when it ended.

No it wouldn't be Feeny. He said he would not kill Feeny off until his actor died in real life.

If this doesn't prove that Jacobs is past his prime then you all genuinely are moron-worshipping morons.

reply

Why don't they just revive "Boy Meets World," call it "Man Meets World," and go on from there. The tween friendships of those girls was incredibly annoying.

If it had been Smackle or Augue, I woukd have been okay with it. It probably would have been Lucas, though, so that they could do a storyline with Riley being really upset, Maya comforting her, and them talking about how they are the absolute bestest friends who ever existed ever and will always be there for each other in the good and bad. You know, something new and different for the writers.

reply

They are the worst of friends.

reply

No no. Don't you watch the show? They are absolutely the closest friends who ever existed. No two people have ever been as close as them and no one ever will. They are thunder and lightening. They have ring power. We can only wish we ever had such a friendship.

Sorry for the sarcasm. I just got so tired of them continously hitting us over the head with how they were closer than any two people ever. They didn't have to do that with Cory and Shawn. It was clear they were close just by their actions. We didn't have to see long talks in a bay window about his they were the best of friends and that nothing would ever come between them.

LMAO, that's too funny!

But, you're right. According to Tripped Media, Jacobs was quoted on the following:

Where would Season 4 be?

Jacobs remains hopeful that another network will pick up the series. He wants to continue telling the stories fans have fallen in love with. Fans originally cajoled Netflix to pick up the series for the next season, but the video-streaming network is reportedly not interested.

So, with Netflix out of the picture, what is next for Girl Meets World? Season 4 would have talked about dealing with changes and losses. Jacobs said he is sure fans would learn a lot from what his ideas about Season 4 are.

If ever a network picks up Girl Meets World, that’s well and good for Jacobs. If not, he said they had a good run with it, and he’s content with what he accomplished.

I'm almost certain that they would have killed off Mr. Feeny. I mean, what other "loss" could he have been talking about? Bleh.

They are toxic as *beep*.

Lucas would definitely have been better - intensely emotional, Riley and Maya running to Farkle; Topanga, Cory, Augie, Shawn and Katy also trying to comfort them - Ava holding on to Augie - just children dealing with death.

Josh. I'm pretty sure they'd have Riley run him over too.

With Maya encouraging her - that would have been a lot of fun...

And then riley and maya would of made it literally all about them and made it a lesson about how even if they die they'd be best friends.
