William's contributions will far outlast the actual movies

Personally, it's the element of these movies that I respond to more than any other. That scene near the end where the Millennium Falcon is being chased wouldn't be nearly as exhilarating without the "tie fighter attack" piece (or, as a friend of mine calls it, the "getting shit down music") from "A New Hope" accompanying it.
