Does it make TFA better?

I am probably going to catch this in a few weeks when the theaters are a little less crowded, but for those of you that have seen it, especially those of you whose opinion of TFA was partially effected by where this film and eventually IX story goes. Does it make TFA better or worse?

It makes it better now, at least it had a story and didn't drag in places like TLJ.

Worse! The stark realization that the new trilogy had no pre conceived story arch to follow makes all that was put forth to speculate upon in TFA irrelevant.
