Literally every actor could die and they would just recast everyone or use CGI cartoons. A business does not stop doing business because one of its employees dies.
They will continue making star wars movies ,this is about making money for Disney.
shareUmm... pretty much any movie studio that isn't an indie film producer is in it to make money, and even the indies are usually wanting to make money.
Movies made for charity are fairly rare, at least ones that would appear in a major theater in nationwide or worldwide release.

I'm sure Disney/Lucasfilm will include a nice tribute to Carrie in the credits but there's no way Episode IX is getting cancelled. It would still happen even if Mark Hamill passed away. Disney is going to put a Star Wars film out every year until they stop making money.
