Had I needed convincing in my atheism, this movie would have done it.
The only evidence for the Abrahamic god is the bible, written by worshippers; the most blatant example of begging the question in all time!

You should read Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. I recommend with a dictionary. (this isn't a jab at your intelligence, he uses antiquated words.)

He was an incredibly intelligent man. What have you got to lose?

Ps this movie was terrible. It could of been awesome, it almost seems likes they wanted it to bomb.

I find Mere Christianity quite weak, making either-or arguments which overlook a more like 3rd or 4th option, incongruous analogies (comparing God to an architect who cannot be a part of his building, while not considering that an architect might visit inside a building he designed), and outright inaccuracies (stating that all societies basically have the same moral code, when in fact some societies revere what is strictly forbidden in another).

I wish Atheists were like they say, Intelligent freethinkers with thir own Opinions who relied on Evidence and Logic. Instead. we see this same gibberish over and over and over again. Sayign there is no evidence for the Abrahamic god other than the Bible is stupid. ANuone whose studied Philosophy kows its stupid. WHat you've presented here is a Catchphrase, a dogma from your own "fundamentalist" religion, nothing more.

How about reading and studying the bible before you make up your mind. If you had then you would realize the rapture is fiction as well as many other traditions that have been passed down as truths through the years. This movie has nothing to do with real Christianity.

What tipped me over the edge to atheism was listening to Christians, I realized how insane their religion was.

MY DAUGHTER ATTENDS CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY.SHE ENJOYS IT AND I WANT HER TO MAKE HER OWN CHOICES...HOWEVER,I FEEL ILL JUST BEING NEAR THE PLACE...ONCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO READ AND HEAR THE ACTUAL FACTS ABOUT THE BIBLE AND RELIGION I JUST LOST ANY ABILITY TO TAKE IT SERIOUS OR BE AROUND IT.
