anyone surprised McGregor agreed to do this?

It was a decent film. But this is the kind of role Jason statham does. Or Michael Madsen.

Frankly, McGregor was a strange choice for the role. I cringed when he was trying to do the tough guy act. I blame the director though.

Surprised because the film is pretty crap.

I thought Ewan was a goid choice as his character in the film was more street smart and organised rather than tough hence how he was able to make the guy switch sides at the end.

I think his performance is the best part of a fairly predictable sort of film.🐭
