American Version of My Mad Fat Diary

I found this article that states there planning on making a pilot or American version of My Mad Fat Diary.

I'm American but I doubt this is going to be good. I mean the writings probably going to be good because the top script writer for MMFD is going to write the American version. However, I think what makes MMFD great is the actors like Sharon Rooney and the rest of the cast who are able to pull of the amazing writing and Rae's story. I just can't imagine MMFD set in America with American actors.

I want a season 3 instead.

What do you think?

Absolutely not! I would rather a network in the US air the show as it is. US remake of Skins was terrible. US remake of Inbetweeners was terrible. Only US remake of a UK show that I truly liked was The Office.

LOL, sounds like that messy 'Skins' US version MTV tried its hand at a few years back. What a hot mess!
