Wow. Depressing, depressing, and um... well - depressing.

The glowing reviews from critics (why, oh why do I pay any attention to them?) misled me. I actually believed them. I thought this would be fresh in some way and what I found was a immature, messed up, self-absorbed fellow.

YES, the person in your mirror is the most important person in your life. That is the person who makes decisions that impact your existence... but this character ONLY saw the person in his mirror. He was so unlikable and the whole mess was just depressing. I don't wish to spend an hour and a half immersed in that kind of character. I could have been reading a good book. Or giving the dog a bath. Anything more pleasant and rewarding than this mess.

I want my time back.

You know what they say... no one with missing teeth wears an Armani suit.

This is a well done movie, but I'd never let anyone watch it if they are going through rough times. I'd fully understand how it would push someone over the edge into suicide.

Totally agree. Feel conned. If you didn't feel depressed before you will after simply through wasting our precious time on this crap! No depth, nothing. Very poor animation too.

Didn't it arouse the slightest bit of empathy in you when Michael made it clear that he didn't want to be this way? When he was panicking about having something wrong with him, and convinced that Lisa was the cure to all this madness? It was on another level of heaviness for me that Michael was not oblivious - he knew something was wrong with him, and wanted it to go away, and yet there was nothing he could do to make it go away. Heartbreaking.

Stick to Disney movies then.

I'd call it realistic (the ending was a bit of a let down but a very good movie nontheless)
