Bert is the BEST character on this show!!

I can't stand him. I actually was coming to the board to see if anyone else thought that Bert and his mom should have been written out upon this being ordered to series by ABC. I think the show could do just fine with only Marcia Gay Harden and the twins.

i agree. just based on the title alone, i rolled my eyes at this show. but the kid caught my interest in the commercial, so i dvr'd the pilot to see him. watched the second for the same reason, and will keep doing so if it continues!

He's my favourite character on the show too! So adorable.

I don't think he's the best character, I think the entire ensemble is brilliantly cast, but this kid is one hell of an awesome actor. I mean, he really does steal every scene he's in. I'm really impressed.

I think he and Hilary are the best characters on the show.
