Who would have followed Claire right out the front door?

It was the perfect out. Awkward moment brought to a halt by someone with enough backbone to assert themselves. I would’ve been itching for an out by that point (introvert who loathes parties) and would have politely but firmly insisted on walking Claire out then peaced the fuck out myself. Also, I do not believe Claire would have been murdered had someone walked her out.
Loved this film btw, watched for the second time last night (been a few years) and was captivated by the writing and acting.

This film is great. I think it's fascinating to think about what one would do. I mean these are your friends. You trust them. You think you should be able to trust that they won't do anything to hurt you, but you feel that something isn't right. But they are your friends...

It absolutely is fascinating to think about and I’ve been playing out different scenarios in my mind. If the two strangers hadn’t been there I think my reluctance to stay would be considerably less but those two gave off such a palpable level of tension oriented energy.
