One of The Top 10 Truly Great Movies of 2015

The list of ten best as it stands.

1) Avengers: Age of Ultron
2) Ant-Man
3) The Martian
4) Bridge of Spies
5) Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
6) Inside Out
7) Mr. Holmes
8) Phoenix
9) Sicario
10) Mad Max: Fury Road

Here's hoping The 33, My All American, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 and certainly Star Wars: The Force Awakens can crack this list before years end.

Where did this Upton turn around come from?

When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have fun, you can do amazing things. Marvel having no pressure now gives them ANOTHER huge advantage over the WB.

Mad Max: Fury Road's hype far outstrips its quality.

reply

It still is thought of in high regard.

How is it every year Marvel produces two aces? Some studios can't get one movie right every five years.

reply

None of the films on your list are bad, but I don't think I'd call Mr Holmes, Ant-Man or Rogue Nation are "truly great".
Just my opinion, though.

reply

Both Ant-Man and Rogue Nation are amazing and are on my shelf in my home collection. They are must own films in my book.

I accept your surrender.

reply

Well, I'm happy you were able to find more positive aspects from those films than I did!

reply

We should all be happy for one another living in an age were Marvel is unleashed in all its glory.

reply

It's Christmas week and that's the way it feels all year around when you are able to enjoy Marvel films.

After Batman v Superman's stink leaves the threatre, let's hope the rest of 2016 clears up.

reply

One of The Top THREE Truly Great Movies of 2015 truth be told.

reply

Amazing thing is that Marvel or a Marvel character is going to place three maybe four movies in this year's top ten as well. They really are sitting pretty and still on that gold mine.

reply

You mean mainstream popcorn movies right?

And btw Mad MAx deserves to be higher...

reply

I think of all the movies released in 2015, big and small, Age of Ultron was top five not just ten.
