Wow great show but so dark and depressing!

I just started watching this show. I'm 4 episodes in. I think it's very well done and well acted but damn is this show ever depressing and dark. I can't watch more than an episode or 2 at a time without feeling way too depressed. I'ts going to take me a while to finish it.

Yes, mostly negative things happen to the characters we like and only rarely do they triumph a little. But you can kind of get used to it.
