Excellent game. Campaign games should take note...

about the length of this game. Games like Call of Duty has no excuse to be so short, it's ridiculous. This game compromised on graphics which actually works well and it has a long long long campaign. All because of single player and side missions, unlike games like final fantasy where most of the side missions to level up are really just repetitive fighting against monsters, no real side stories (I love final fantasy though).

I don't really like side missions in games usually because it's all trivial point less random missions. In this game there were a few, but a lot were tied into the story line and some you couldnt' do until you progress with story which was great. Unlike the first, this one centered more on the characters and story. When I played the first I chose the sniper. I didn't know his name, I didn't really care because nothing made me interested, I expected to interact with the other vault hungers but that never happened. This game brought em back and added them to it, added emotions, and some really new interesting awesome characters like Tiny Tina, she should've had a major role, quite funny.

Anyways great game. While the story was alright, it did tie into the first one pretty well and Handsome Jack was something different... he was plain flat, just a cocky guy with money, but it made him a great bad guy, it wasn't forced or anything just a simple greedy guy and his corporation. Hopefully next game they will let the main character interact with each other too (the new four characters) even if you play with all four, just have some interaction at least. If you choose a woman, let it be known that you are a woman, or that particular character. I played with Gaige and the amount of times I was referred to as "he" "him", which has no excuse since 1 of the 4 main characters is female.

Anyways I still have to find the echo recorders on everyone. They should just make sure next time that when they make another DLC character to also include the character in the intro and credits and refer to the character you are playing. Mention the big robot she has with her etc. That's a reason why I never cared for characters in borderlands 2 because other than gameplay it didn't matter, only in this game do we see how cool they all are. so im hoping they fix that up next time.

Other than that, it was a great ride!

"Games like Call of Duty has no excuse to be so short, it's ridiculous."

How about the fact that they make 5 hour campaigns with tight action, set-pieces and very detailed levels. Also the campaign is just a side-order nowadays, the real focus is on the multi-player.

Borderlands is amazing but it sounds like you have no idea how video-game Design works..

Clearly, neither do you. The fact that you posted this is 2016 is absurd. Games like The Last of Us has shown that games could be jam packed with story characters and action within 15 hour gameplay. Single campaign is still an important aspect of a game. Not everyone cares about multiplayer. In fact with most gives it is sidelined.

As a general rule you should think before you try and subject people to your personal opinion especially if you're going to try and pretend that you know what you're that talking about. It makes you look like a pretentious social pariah. Just from your ignorant message I can tell you don't know anything. In fact most people, as noted by the latest COD trailer are sick and tired of CODs short campaigns. So no, you don't speak for the general masses. Clearly you do not know anything about game designing or what makes a good game.

I'd stil lrather play CoD's single player campaign because it has a single player campaign.

This game the emphasis is playing in a group. 1 person dying repeatedly taking on the same number of enemies single handedly as there would be with 4 playes = not a very fun time if you avoid playing online games.

I really wanted to liked Borderlands 2 because people said it was such an improvment over the first but they offer the same level in tedium for me. I already knew in advance to skip the Pre-sequel.

Thankfully Telltale games know how to cater to someone wanting play a Borderlands game that caters to the lonesome gamer!

I don't have a problem with the duration of the campaign, it's fine but not great. Could you imagine the game if they would have done an open world like Skyrim or similar? Wow. Anyways what really stands out to me in this game are the amazing voice overs for the most part. They really set the tone of the game perfectly.

Also like people already have mentioned this game was CLEARLY meant for co-op and that's it's weakest part. While the game can be played just "fine" by yourself mechanics and the likes are obviously balanced around the fact that you would be playing with other people. I hope this is something they improve with the next game, that is assuming they're working on the third one. I honestly did not like the pre-sequel at all, but I heard it wasn't really made by the same team.

The game is great tho, very fun and enjoyable and you can keep playing for a long time, even tho you've completed it several times. I'm at 300+ hours played, and seen people with over 2k hours! Some times I wish the game was more like PoE or D3 in that regard, the community would be so much more alive than it is today. Maybe even more if they would have allowed for MODDING from the get go! It's far from dead however, I think the game has around 5-6k players playing it daily. Tho, you don't really see most of these if you're trying multiplayer. The players are just too spread out and if you were to level a low character you'd just get some high level joining your game and ruining it.

This is the best one in the whole series. Better than the 1st one and certainly better than the 3rd one.
