Too much unnecessary cruelty shown towards dogs. Keeping his dog under the porch, yelling at him and the other dog, and of course the dog fight scene. I mean what's the point? It had nothing to do with the main story. I hate it when movies do stuff like that. Just leave the animals alone. It made it almost unwatchable for my wife.

Christ you people need to grow up. It's depicting how a certain type of person lives. That includes how they treat their animals. If you need to see dogs being lavished with treats and offered pillows to lie on, don't just stop watching movies - try avoiding the real world too.
Also, it doesn't even SHOW ANY violence of any kind toward the dogs. They fight off-screen. If you can't handle that level of graphic depiction, you are worse than childish.
And yet the liberal scum of Hollywood that makes this garbage brainwashes people with this powerful, brave lead character hero type by having him let a deadly snake go where people are working rather than do what would be done IRL, YOU F'ING KILL IT.
Still not as bad as the moronic wolverine movie where the liberal retards have the lead character go nuts because someone killed an incredibly dangerous bear with a poisoned arrow.
A bare that would eat a 7 year old girl alive, thrive on her cries and screams and then be addicted to human flesh seeking out further victims but most specifically, children.
