As usual, ridiculous Mary Sue overpowering of female character

The jumping-on-the-head-of-guys move that she does looks as ridiculous as bad Hong Kong wire-fu.

And as soon as she started fighting the knife guy at the end, I groaned, because I knew what was coming: the Mary Sue moment where a skinny girl takes out a trained male fighter with greater muscle mass. Utterly ludicrous.

In real life, a trained male fighter would have destroyed her easily, no matter how much training she's had. Male strength advantage not only makes men vastly more powerful, but quicker too (something films try to wish away).

Maybe because it's a movie,action movie.Spectacle always in the foreground.
Why do the same thing to explain several times?
Currently, all action heroines - a cool fighting style that involves acrobatics.
Ilsa kills men with her bare legs,Black Widow breaks the neck of the "enemies shield" with her thighs,Maggie Q in all his movies,alone can deal with the gang.
It looks impressive(+actress cute),most in delight,people approve

If you want realism,look like a drunken fight bums at the train station,or mutants, like Rousey(like a female?still not clear)in MMA.

In real life, the entire movie would be ludicrous so I'm not sure what your point is regarding this minor issue.

Yes, most of the movie was pretty silly.
But I agree with what the OP says, it's typical today to have a woman beat up a man. That guy was about 14 inches taller than her, and probably outweighed her by 75 to 100 pounds. There is nooo way she would be likely to win a fight.
I don't care how much training she had. Cause the other guy was clearly a trained killer too.

Let's put it this way, there is a reason that Boxing has different weight divisions. They don't have Super Heavyweights fight welterweights. Both are well trained in fighting, but the heavyweight just has too much of an advantage in height, weight, and reach. It would just be completely unfair.

It's about me?
She often sits on the neck of enemies-that's her fighting style,I wrote generally(female MI6 agent,a professional assassin can deal with the thugs),and not about the final match on the knifes.
Nobody wrote here that she killed him(Janik Vinter) with her thighs.

I don't think she qualifies as a Sue since she's established as an elite British agent.

Having said that, the whole "jump on top of the bad guy's head while he just stands there and or helps you up" is a ridiculous move and always elicits an eye roll from me.

Also, yeah there is another issue with girls taking full contact hits to the head from male fighters and just shrugging it off. There was a study that shows that men's jaws and skulls evolved to be thicker due to having to fight for resources.

In reality, a woman that takes a full force punch to the head (even a well trained agent) would likely be knocked out or at least dazed by the impact.

Still, as they say, it's a movie. So I try not to let things like that distract me from the overall story.

In real life, a man couldn't do that, either. Why do you and your MRA buddies only complain when it's a woman? It's not as though big men haven't been killed by itty-bitty women before. A knife is a great equalizer.

It's not only boring with all these "Mary Sue's" complaints, but it's also strange that you seem to not have payed attention to what kind of villain Vinter was. But since The Bone Doctor wasn't really a fit, nor an extremely well trained man, his specialty was instead cutting, snip off body parts, with the tools he had in his little box.

It's very clear in their last fight that he was rather clumsy, and by cutting him multiple times, she took him down piece by piece. Which made his muscle mass completely useless. So in the end, it was rather easy to get hold of his arm, since there's also an element of surprise, (same with Lane's guard after the opera in Vienna) jumping onto his back, killing him.
