The Punisher

Thomas Jane should learn a lot from this movie. It is a pure Punisher movie.

Exactly how I felt while watching this film, Purcell would be a kick ass Punisher.

Yeah. It was really a modern remake of The Punisher. Purcell had that look, had that physicality, the skill set (he's a Vet, and a pretty good one it seems). His back story... came back from the war, had a family, but criminals took his family, his home, his everything, and so he sets for revenge the only way he knows, taking down the criminals who took everything he had. In this case the criminals work with money, and are legally sanctioned, and they don't shoot back, but otherwise it is exactly like The Punisher.

Is this like the Punisher or more like say Falling Down?
