Was a serious *beep* His theory of Ryan Reynolds being apart of his own daughters abduction had no payoff in the end. We don't know why he felt this way about him. So he just became a disrespectful pest.

yes, he did. the dad 'reminded' him of someone. constantly taunting.
has a high 'closure rate', meaning coerced confessions, frame-ups.
of course, female cop falls for him, because obnoxious, corrupt guys are irresistible.
if that weren't enough, he put his niece in harms way.
