I liked this one and I can’t explain why other than I liked the storyline

Why?

The idiot kills himself in the end and accomplished NOTHING.

Not to mention any idiot can tell it wasn’t filmed in Galveston.

Galveston beaches are disgusting.

the tone is pretty bleak and the cinematography is excellent

I thought this was a powerful, beautiful, compelling film with excellent performances from both Elle Fanning and Ben Foster. Really well written and masterfully directed. My rating is a 9/10.
