The videogame guy should have been Buzz

I think it would have been cool if the videogame guy was Buzz, Kevin's older brother from Home Alone 1, 2, and 4. That would provide some continuity to the series and be a good nod to the original.

Yeah, but why do the Home Alone movies need continuity at all? I mean, we had the first two, the McCallister story should have ended there. Then the following sequels would be different families being attacked by different villains. I thought bringing back the McCallister's in the 4th one was pretty stupid.

Yeah, that would have been a great idea. Maybe even get the original Buzz actor to come back and make reference to Kevin, like "I remember my brother Kevin was left home alone a few times."
