Lose the last scene
I thought that last voice coach scene was completely out of place and messed up the ending. Save the soap box for the interviews and keep the movie consistent.

shareum...?
shareNot a bad observation. It was a bit of a disconnect. Without it, though, there would probably be a loose end with Louis. Not that this tied it up, but it showed that they continue to collaborate.
shareToo much of this movie feels disjointed and the ending is only one example. Feels like it was not shot with the intention of being the ending and that it should have been someone near the beginning of act 2. As depicted, the lead makes no progress through the movie and goes back to being a voice coach. Heck, her clients are even a downgrade!
THE ONLY CRITIC WHO CAN REVIEW WHILE JOGGING:

when the credits came up, I was so confused. I thought I must have accidentally fast forwarded or something. I couldn't believe that was the last scene. The whole movie confused me.
I didn't know what was up when they mentioned something about Daisy whore (that came from the show that Moe was editing) or why Carol tried to get a cab to Reseda (had something to do with the bottle of "medicine" that Mr. Pouncer was sending to his sick friend who lived in Reseda?).
why did they introduce the British neighbor?
why does Moe specialize in a "sandwich bar"
they never explained the "sister code" and Dani didn't know what it meant.
why did Gustav have a secret room? and the nose kiss. why?
ugh. the whole thing seemed a bit of a mess.

Australian, I think.
I agree -- not a change *back.* She can do two things at once -- it's not a 40-hour a week job doing voice overs, right? I didn't even necessarily believe the Geena Davis character -- she could have just been hateful, or jealous, or irritated.
What even IS the best job of doing a voice over? I think it's selling tickets. I'm thinking a woman's voice would sell more tickets in the universe of the film than either of those two guys'.

And all's fair in love and war?
MRS. BAILEY
[primly] I don't know about war.
The sudden relationship with Louis was the biggest problem with this film. Never bought for a moment that she was interested in him as anything more than friends.
Altho she immediately slept with Gustav who was an obvious dbag so she clearly has low self-esteem.
Her relationship with Lewis was a highlight of the movie for me. An actual respectful and sexy relationship on film.
shareYeah I was like what??
Lose the Game!!!!!!!
Maybe, but then we'd lose the 'sexy baby' line which is hilarious.
shareI liked it. She goes back to reality, she’s still has to work for a living but what a much better place she’s in
