What scenes did you find hard to watch?

All seasons 1 2 3.

The interrogation scenes with Stella and Paul Spector, when he was confessing to the murdered. Horrifying beyond words.

And of course any of the scenes where he tortured and murdered. I hate him.

The scene where Rose was filmed by him, crying for help, crying for her family. Damn.

There was some very good acting on this show. It must have been difficult for the actors, I would think.

When Rose was screaming while being dragged away from the car by Paul

Rose talking about her sexual assault

The Katie and Paul hotel scene

Any talk about the boys being molested

Paul beating up Stella

reply

Pretty much the entire show.

He was a horrible horrible human.

reply

Rose video calling to her family

Rose revealing to Stella that she had been abused more than once

Every scene with the daughter. Poor kid. So loving and unaware of who her father is. Heartbreaking

When Paul attacks Stella

Every murder scene

reply

Paul beating the *beep* out of Stella. Pure, disgusting misogyny.

reply

I think it's from the first episode when Paul was counselling the couple who lost there child and Paul was drawing a picture of the Mother naked. There are many more aswell.

reply

Wait, he was doing that?! I thought he was drawing one of his victims. I need to go back and watch that scene again.

reply

I assumed it was meant to be the Mother, I'll have to watch it again. Paul pinning Katie down on the floor because she found the victims hair.

reply

At least what we presumed was the victim's hair. It was actually his mother's, just as he had told Katie it was. Really sad, when you think about it (at least from child Paul's perspective).

reply

The only parts I genuinely found it difficult to watch were the surgery scenes and the parts where they were describing the abuse at the orphan home. The other stuff, while horrible, wasn't so graphic that I couldn't handle it.
