I understand her horrid voice (due to years of smoking)... But WTF happened to her nose??? My God, it looks like the beak of a parrot! I don't remember her nose being that out of control during X-File!
shareHer nose was the same in xfiles. Not everyone has to have Jennifer anniston's nose (after her nose job). GA's nose is just fine.
shareAnderson is extremely thin, healthy but thin. She wasn't at all heavy in the 90's during her X-Files years but she was a young 20-something who, as with all 20-somethings, had facial "baby-fat". Her face is simply thinner in appearance, and not from surgery, which makes her facial features more prominent.
Anderson had laryngitis when filming season 10 of the X-Files which she filmed while wrapping up series 3 of "The Fall". In fact, she had to keep her voice raspy for the rest of both productions when her voice returned in order to maintain consistency. You can hear the differences in various episodes of season 10. Episodes 1 and 6 were filmed back to back, episodes 2-5 were filmed out of order so it comes and goes.
As for her character in "The Fall", Anderson chose to model her persona after a friend who works in the field. Her "whisper" voice was intentional. Add that to Anderson being Anglo/American (as myself) yet having lived most of her life in London, many viewers from the States understandably assumed her accent was fake and/or horrible. Yet in reality it's dead on, aside from her lower voice in "The Fall". It's actually amusing, as I worked in marketing in the industry (08-11) in LA, I've met her a few times and being both Anglo/American our accents were all over the place. I remember American's getting a kick out of it as people with differing nationalities unconsciously change accents depending on with whom they are speaking, so ours would change when talking to each other then to others. It's a trip. lol
I imagine! That happens to me, I find someone from my hometown at a store or a friend calls me from there on the phone and I tend to talk like I used to with that accent which is strong and then I think why am I talking like that, I try to change it but it just comes back, then I go on my regular life with the people around and I talk in the normal way without even thinking
shareWhat are you talking about?! Her nose is perfect, she is super hot and I love that she has kept her normal nose/face. She was just chubby on the X as she was younger. I'm tired of seeing all these actresess with the same fake nose or lips but GA wow my God she only keeps getting better as she grows older, so friggin sexy. She is growing old graciously and I love her for that!
