Daniel Stern’s casting

It’s funny how Daniel Stern is probably most famous for playing Marv in the first two Home Alone movies which take place at Christmastime. He also is the narrator in the Wonder Years, which is a similar coming-of-age nostalgia story as A Christmas Story, so it is fascinating that he would be in this film given the similarities of his previous filmography.
