You are a really horrible person

I was so happy when Ben told Abby, "you're a really horrible person." It's so true. She just comes across as generally unpleasant (a lot like Olly). I especially like that it was said just as she was beginning to preen. I even have a bit of sympathy for the defence lawyer (Sharon?) because at least with her we know she has home-life issues and a reason for being so vitriolic. (Not that I like her either, but you get my point.)

I also had to re-watch that scene. The way he pauses and just says it directly to her face was just perfect. You can tell she was really hurt by it but didn't want to show it. It's wishful thinking but hopefully it made her question her horrible attitude toward the case and the fact that she enjoyed putting the family through all that.

Obviously it had little impact on her - when the verdict was read she openly grinned and did a fist-pump. Sickening display of bravado in front of the victim's family
