You don't see many South African Films

Off hand the only one I can think of is District 9 which of course bears no relation to this film.
But anyway, this is very good, very brutal and I didn't know how it would end - which is unusal in itself. It's a busy film too, there is a lot going on with characters and plenty of background detail but they show this without slowing down or distracting from the main story. I didn't realise that Orlando Bloom could be that good and of course Forest Whitaker is very compelling to watch. The rest of the cast was good too - clearly there is a strong pool of talent in South Africa and I need to find some more films made in that country.
