shareIt was a tiny bit cheesy and predicable in some parts but I could totally see this as a TV series. I would watch it. The location was beautiful and there is quite lot of drama lurking just below the surface of that seemingly serene and simple Amish life.

shareSame. I expected a cheesy Lifetime film, and I got something with some real substance, fine performances, and--unusual for Lifetime--a very tangible, non-generic atmosphere/setting.
I would absolutely love to see more of this.

Old thread archived from IMDb but what the hell, I'll reply -- I enjoyed this, and totally expected to find out it had been or is an ongoing TV series. I'm quite disappointed to find out that it never was picked up.
I think the settings and the characters could have been rich pickings for some good storylines and continuing crime and drama.
