Question about bringing goats on board and slaughtering them for food.

Besides if that scene was real or not (then again, I've endured "Cannibal Holocaust" (1980) and similar notorious films with more disturbing scenes of animal slaughter)...

If they were apparently at sea in some Somalian coast (is it?), where exactly do they go or travel to find the goats or even if they had goats on boat already, why does that ship keep goats like that? (Is it really loaded with live goats specifically to be used as food at some point?)

And also, what, if one could slaughter a goat, they could immediately cook it and it is delicious and healthy food with no risky or suspicious ingredients to them, correct?

And how did Connor Julian know already that they could bring aboard the goats and slaughter them? And how many goats do they have, and for how long can it all last, what is the expiry date for edible food goat wise dead or alive? Is killing and then frying goats healthy, can we all do it even if we are not professional cooks?

Anyone know, thanks.
