Like watching paint dry

Agree. I'm a huge fan of both Elvis and Sofia Coppola but I'm not sure what the point of this was. The original adaptation of the book was much better. This was very forgettable.

Elvis liked Priscilla because she looked like his mother who had recently passed away (not sure if he was aware of the resemblance or it was a subconscious thing). Several of his other girlfriends had a similar look.

Yeah I wasn’t exactly bored watching this as I was expecting something to happen but it never did. When the credits rolled I was scratching my head and asking “what was the point of that?”

Agree, a very dull film with boring characters. Priscilla seems nice enough, but she is so meek and reticent all the time. We watch her choose dresses, put on make up, dye her hair. Yaaawwwnn. I was about as bored of her as she was of her school work.

Then Elvis shows up and says “ hey baby”, takes a pill and sleeps all day. Then back on the bus to Hollywood or Vegas.

Who were all the other people, the goofy goons in the entourage, the grandma, the pack of ladies who drank on the couch…? They are all these faceless, nameless NPCs, furniture people. The movie lacked human interactions. It was just so cold and standoffish.
