Amber not attractive

I was just watching the musical episode. At the end when she grounds herself, her hair is up and she puts on a big smile. She is gorgeous.
However, when she is not smiling and the hair just separated in the middle, she looks a little like Frida. Maybe a South-American look. Some may like that, we are not there. And we are only talking about her looks here. That is the OP.
I think I heard the season starting on Sept 20. can that be right?!
I am looking forward to it!

update: I just became an expert on eyebrows. In the middle where the brows star, they don't start right away, but there are few loose ones which from a distance adds to the size. From up close they may not. Fix that up!

I've defended her looks before and i still say she has a certain quality of beauty that works and makes her quite attractive... I'm saying this in an observatory manner...not being pervie. =)

She's not conventionally attractive. I like that. I like her.

The character was never supposed to be the drop dead gorgeous type that every guy is after. Neither was she supposed to be supremely confident, and comfortable with herself, or very popular.

Amber had attitude, but there was also a lot of teenage angst, and insecurities going on there.

Excellent bit of acting on Mamet's part. Whether or not the show lasts, she's going to be around for a long while. Get used to that fact.

She's pretty and her character is so bitchy, I can't help but be in love with her! ;)

To me, it is is plainly obvious she and her sister got where they are because of nepotism. They are not lookers and can barely act their way out a paper bag.

She has very plain features and her eyebrows are just ridiculous. There is no excuse for those eyebrows.

And I agree she sucks as an actress.

I also think she is attractive. However, the charater is completely obnoxious. She has that completely spoiled, holier than thou attitude all the time. Also, she treats her boyfriend very badly.

With great power comes great responsibility.
